FAQs about Housing Hub Colorado

HHC’s vision is to enable more efficient affordable housing development statewide by aligning processes, reducing the time and costs associated with applying for multiple funding sources, and increasing coordination between agencies. The first phase of HHC was designed to support applicants in competitive application rounds to enable efficiencies across the application processes. The current phase of HHC supports all applicants seeking Housing Tax Credits and gap funding with a common application, aligned narratives, streamlined documents and guidance, and a common document sharing system. Please see the About page for more information.

The HHC website includes a high-level overview of cross-agency collaboration to align application processes. Complete information is available directly on agency websites.

Each agency maintains its own program-specific requirements as applicable. HHC does not alter statutory or regulatory obligations.

HHC will continue efforts to further streamline application processes based on developer feedback and other additional opportunities for efficiencies identified, including implementation of a common technology system currently underway.

HHC is aligning application spreadsheet and narrative responses where possible between the Housing Tax Credit, DOH, OEDIT, and HOST applications so that answers can be the same across applications. As of fall 2026, nearly 200 spreadsheet questions were de-duplicated and narrative questions have been consolidated.
