Housing Hub Colorado supports developers of affordable rental housing utilizing federal Housing Tax Credits and related gap funding in Colorado. Here are initiatives that align processes and reduce time when applying for multiple funding sources.

Commonly Accepted Excel Spreadsheet

Through this collaboration, all agencies have worked to align respective application spreadsheets for tax credit projects in an effort to reduce administrative burden on applicants applying across entities. The Housing Tax Credit Excel application may be submitted in place of the previous DOH and HOST budget spreadsheets if desired.

Commonly Aligned Narrative Responses

HHC is aligning narrative responses where possible between the Housing Tax Credit, DOH, and HOST applications so that answers can be the same across applications.

DOH Pre-application Updates

DOH has adjusted the conditional award pre-application to further streamline the process by eliminating the requirement for financial letters of interest and significantly reducing the fields required in Neighborly for pre-application.

Application Timelines
